More than 2 million lights sparkle at Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway this holiday season as the 17th annual Ford Speedway In Lights powered by TVA dazzles guests with its four-plus mile winter wonderland.
For many the South's largest holiday light show has become a must-see tradition, and this year officials have partnered with local businesses to offer guests a discount on admission costs.
Discounts and promotion available for the 2013-2014 season are:
Admission to Ford Speedway In Lights, open nightly from 6-10 p.m., is $12 for cars Sunday through Thursday and $15 on Friday and Saturday. Activity van tickets are $20 each night and tickets for buses are $85 each night. Tickets are available at the route entrance, located at the Bristol Dragway entrance just off Hwy. 394.
Johnson Controls Ice Rink and HVAC Chill Hill are open Tues. - Sun. from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Cost to skate is $5 with an additional $2 charge for skate rentals. A 50-minute session on Chill Hill is $7 for persons at least 44" tall. Children who are at least 36" tall may ride with someone 16 or older for an additional $3. Schedules for HVAC Chill Hill and Johnson Controls Ice Rink can be adjusted due to the weather so guests are encouraged to call in advance.
All proceeds from Ford Speedway In Lights, Johnson Controls Ice Rink and HVAC Chill Hill benefit the Bristol chapter of Speedway Children's Charities which raises money in support of children's agencies throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
