Bristol Motor Speedway celebrates another successful Ford Speedway In Lights powered by TVA light show with a spectacular fireworks display Jan. 5.
The 16th edition of Ford Speedway In Lights comes to a close Saturday after a seven-week run with the fireworks extravaganza that traditionally marks the final night of one of the country’s largest light shows.
Fireworks, which will be visible from all around the Speedway and Bristol Dragway, including the General Shale Christmas Village in the infield, will light up the night at approximately 10 p.m.
Ford Speedway In Lights is open 6-10 p.m. nightly through Jan. 5. Prices for cars are $12 Sunday through Thursday, and $15 Friday and Saturday. Activity van tickets are $20 each night and tickets for buses are $85 each night.
Speedway in Lights is the anchor event for the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities which has raised in excess of $7 million for children’s agencies in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia over the last 15 years.
The Johnson Controls Ice Rink ($7 admission/skate rental) and HVAC Chill Hill ($7) remain open through Jan. 13.
